After almost a century in operation, Hilton Worldwide, consisting today of 13 brands, finally opened a B2B department to directly address the needs of event planners and travel pros that book so often with the #1 hospitality brand in the world. After being given a small task to help the sales force, we sold through an entire brand platform to redefine what it means to be an event planner or travel pro and push this great profession from unsung hero to actual hero. We did this by giving them a new name. WowMakers. The campaign launched internally in July at the Cleveland Convention Center a day after the RNC convention
